尾瀬の雪どけ 彗星 【群馬】～駆け抜ける赤い彗星～
ここ最近毎日のように飲んでしまっているのですが、
今宵のお供は群馬、舘林の龍神酒造が醸す「尾瀬の雪どけ」です。
群馬、栃木、新潟、福島にまたがり2000m級の山々に囲まれた国立公園です。
年の半分は雪に閉ざされていて、5月半ばの雪どけと共に春が訪れます。
その尾瀬の雪どけ水が堆積して出来た龍神の井戸の水を使用して酒蔵を始めたのが、
龍神酒造の前身と言われてるようです。
今回は2020年特別企画のバックナンバーシリーズの第一弾として、
北海道の酒米、彗星を使用した「尾瀬の雪どけ 純米大吟醸 彗星」です。
ラベルの色からも赤い彗星をインスピレーションする方も多いのではないでしょうか。
日本酒を飲んでいるとガンダムを連想させるような銘柄に時々出会いますが、
こちらの銘柄はどうなのでしょうね。
謎に包まれたままではありますが、
マスカットや青りんごを思わせるような果実感の溢れる味わいで、
彗星の名の如く、口の中を駆け抜ける切れ味を持ったスマートな旨味を感じます。
純米大吟醸の為か口当たりがよく、非常にフルーティなので単体でもすいすい飲める為、
日本酒独特の強い香りや重たさが苦手な方はこんな味わいの日本酒に出会えたら、
日本酒ファンになるかもしれませんね。
バックナンバーシリーズの第一弾とのことなので、第二弾、第三弾と
飲んでみたくなる一杯でした。

Oze Snow Thawer Comet ~Japanese sake review~
I have been drinking almost every day recently,
Tonight's companion is "Oze Snow Thawer", which is created by Ryujin Brewery in Gunma and Tatebayashi.
It is a national park surrounded by 2000m-class mountains that spans Gunma, Tochigi, Niigata and Fukushima.
Half of the year is closed to snow, and spring comes with the snow in mid-May.
It is said that the brewery was started using the water from the well of Ryujin, which was formed by the accumulation of the snow from Oze.
This is the first installment of the back issue series for the special plan for 2020, "Oze Snow Thawing" using sake rice and comets from Hokkaido.
It has a fruity taste reminiscent of Muscat and green apples, and, like the name of a comet, it has a smart taste with a sharpness that runs through the mouth.
Because it has a good taste and is very fruity, you can drink it alone, so if you are not good at the strong aroma and weight unique to sake, you may become a sake fan if you come across this kind of sake.
It was the first of the back number series, so it was a drink I wanted to drink with the second and third bullets.
